Strawberries and gingerbread MEN!

So today I think I will blog about...................... Why there is only one strawberry left? O_o

Okay I have nothing to blog about. But that's never stopped me before! :) Well, to be perfectly off my goal topic, Let's talk about how far downhill children's programing has gone since I was a little kid.

So when I was little we had sesame street and Barney and Blues Clues. And I LOVED face! :D Anyone who watched Nick Jr. during the very early days knows who I am talking about. And if you don't, YOU WERE DENIED AS A KID. And then we had Sesame Street that was ACTUALLY good. Actually, it didn't get bad until Parents started posting requests on their youtube channel. But the point is, now little kids are forced to put up with crappy stuff.

FOR EXAMPLE: Super Why. It isn't really BAD, it's just they screw up the original story. Like yesterday: They went in to the story of the gingerbread boy. First problem, it's the gingerbread MAN. I repeat, MAN!!!!! Then he didn't run away from a cat, a cow and a horse! Then he didn't even sing the song right! the stupid cookie sang, "Run run and jump for joy! You can't catch me I'm the gingerbread boy!" It is, "RUN RUN RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN. YOU CAN'T CATCH ME I'M THE GINGERBREAD MAN!"

And worst of all, the fox didn't eat him! Sure it's a little kids show, but that never stopped my parents from telling me the fox ate him! Sigh. This blog is kinda lame, huh?

Me for once.

Okay so not much is going on with my brother right now....

So I figured today we could maybe talk about me for once. I PROMISE more about him later (Trust me, there will be more).

So who am I? I am not supposed to put that on the internet. But I guess I can DESCRIBE myself... there isn't a rule against that, is there? ;) So I'm about five foot four, and enjoy wearing jeans (The ones I have on right now are my favorite cuz they SPARKLE! :). My eyebrows are two different shapes (CURSE YOU EYEBROW MONSTER!!!!) and I have eyes that change colors depending on my mood, but I just say they're blue-green. I have long dark brown hair. My smile is pretty, but it needs a LOT of work (IE, braces).

And I currently feel bloated and sick to my stomach. TMI, huh? Well, I have a big bowl of bell peppers waiting for me..... Although I think I might just saute them with mushrooms and have vegetarian pasta tonight.....

My blessing is in the hospital.

Which version do y'all want?

Hmmm.... Let's go with the long version. It'll probably make more sense.

So my brother (Whom from here on out shall be named, My Blessing) has chronic constipation issues (It's even more gross than it sounds), and in October he had a GI button put in his abdomen. I think. It's on his tummy. And what it does is it allows us to put together a laxative solution with some water (or is it saline? I don't have much to do with it) and put it in an IV bag and he connects the tube to his button and we flush his bowels with it.

Only apparently that isn't quite enough, because he's all backed up again. He is in the hospital, because with the button this could be VERY dangerous. But, (THANK YOU LORD!!) It isn't NEARLY as bad as it was the last two times he's been in the hospital. The poo is only in his large intestine, and they don't have to stick a tube down his nose this time! :D They can just run the laxative through his button. I think. I try to learn as little as possible, because this is SUPER GROSS.

But to summarize, he needs prayers. And I don't care what religion you are, just PLEASE pray for him. Pray that the doctor's can figure out why this is happening and find a way to keep it from happening again. And I don't care if you're not Catholic. Most of my friends aren't. My best friend is actually Lutheran, but we still pray for each other.

Well, that about sums up what's going on right now. Also, if y'all have a topic you think I should blog about, don't be afraid to comment telling me so! I do take requests. ;)

Don't they make you hungry??? They're for my friends. We're going to the movies tomorrow and cupcakes are kinda difficult to hide in your purse. Be jealous. ;)

Hyper-activeness and cake

Ever have your sibling be so hyper, play the why game, and keep saying, "With Nachos!" and they wouldn't stop?

No? Lucky. I experience that a LOT. a lot of times it's close to the full moon, but today, BOTH of my brothers are doing this. Well, The littlest is just bouncy and playing the why game. The Autistic/Bipolar one is still on his way home with my mom, and apparently had a bad day at day program today. And he won't stop saying "With Nachos!"

You can see what my night looks like. And the worst part is both of the boys feed off of each other. Aw, poor Perry the Platypus. That is how you spell Platypus, right? Well....

Time to roll cake balls in Chocolate! Pictures to come!

My blessing in disguise

Okay, so this is the first time I'm going to have this out on the web.

Here goes: My brother is autistic. And bipolar. So my house is LOUD. And chaotic. But I know I CAN'T be the only one out there who has someone in their life like this. So this blog is for those of us out there searching for resources, answers, or just a shoulder to cry on when you find out that juice pouches can STING when they get chunked at you.

But I also know that those kids (And us who have to put up with them) are often misunderstood. So if your looking for info on them, here's some first-hand POV. But PLEASE DON'T JUDGE. If there is one thing I hate about the internet is when people judge others. It's as dumb as leaving a hate comment on a video you chose to watch. And I will simply read it, and laugh at you. ;D

Let's see...... Yep, I think that covers everything.
